I’m Jen—the Artist behind Kaiya Creative

I’m a surface designer, illustrator, and curious creative at heart. I help bring a touch of personality to products that are meant to be used, gifted, and loved.

Color and pattern have always found their way into my daily life—whether it’s curating cozy spaces, wrapping meaningful gifts, or finding the right pop of color or pattern to my mostly neutral, semi-minimalist wardrobe. Since 2007, I’ve helped companies design products and experiences for a wide range of audiences and styles, but it wasn’t until I started creating with my daughter in mind that I began creating with more playful motifs and colorful palettes that capture the spirit of the young and young at heart.

My collections are inspired by an eclectic mix of nature, travel, and my daughter’s growing opinions on fashion and birthday themes. I hope my work inspires others to create, connect, and celebrate the people and the moments that matter most.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me in my cut flower garden, at my sewing table, curled up with a good book, or off on a little adventure with my husband and our wildy curious four-year-old.
